Since 1998, BPN has been dedicated to the development, promotion, and sale of quality, Continuing Professional Education for CPAs, Financial and Tax Professionals, Lawyers, and Bankers.  As a company, we combine Professional Education, top-notch Production and Distance Delivery in the most effective ways possible. As BPN grew, the need for a high-quality media studio became very apparent. So in 2013, BPN Media was established to specialize in creative, professional and corporate video production.  This family run company has grown with wild success and since then continues to grow in its efforts to bring your message to the masses, with highly-targeted, video production in a fresh and innovative way.

  • Jim Parente

    Jim Parente

    Chief Executive Officer and President

    Jim Parente, CEO of Business Professionals Network, Inc., BPN Media’s parent company, is also the Executive Producer for BPN Media. Jim is an attorney by background, though since 1982, his primary professional focus has been in continuing education administration and production. He worked for many organizations including the American Bar Association and the Texas Society of CPAs, before founding BPN, with Jim Carder, in 1998. Since then, Jim’s mission has been to combine high-quality continuing professional education for CPAs with top-notch video production and distance learning technology, to help professionals meet their licensing requirements.

    Anne Taylor

    Director of Operations

    After graduating from St. Mary’s of Notre Dame, Anne too began her professional career as an elementary teacher in Plano ISD. Then in 2006, the opportunity arose for Anne to join the BPN team. Anne’s role as Manager of the Accounting CPE Network (ACPEN) has grown and evolved with the business. Anne now acts as the Director of Operations for all of our BPN verticals—ACPEN, ABEN, and now BPN Media. Anne’s 8+ years in client management ensure that all customers who work with BPN, are satisfied customers!

    Jessica Vieira

    Manager of Production Services

    Jessica graduated with a BS in Education from Baylor University--Sic 'em Bears! After 9 years as a teacher and 3 years as a writer at Southwest Airlines, Jessica joined the BPN team full-time. She now serves as the Manager of Production Services. We are thrilled Jessica brings her creativity and fun-loving attitude to the BPN family.

    Sally Smith

    Senior Accountant

    Sally’s professional history includes contributions in several smaller start-up firms in the technology arena. Combine that with her extensive experience and education in accounting, and Sally was the perfect fit for BPN (and now BPN Media). For over 15 years, Sally has served as the company accountant, and several years ago, she added an additional role, serving as the ABEN (Agents & Brokers Education Network) Affiliate Manager. Sally's loyalty and willingness to support multiple projects is truly valued by the BPN crew.

    Jeffrey Parente

    Director of Technology & Creative Services

    Jeff is another Baylor Bear! He graduated in 2008 with a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. Couple that with his natural technological ability, and he was the perfect fit for BPN Media. Jeff started his career with BPN running all remote production and webcasting, but now serves as our Director of Technology and Creative Services. Jeff’s creativity and attention to detail ensure our clients end up with the perfect production.

    Charlie LaCosta

    Manager of Production Technical Services

    Charlie joined the BPN Media team while finishing up his college experience at the University of Dallas. After graduating, he joined us full-time as a production assistant and tech support. Over the past few years, Charlie has grown his knowledge base and skill set and now serves as our Manager of Production Technical Services. If you’re looking for video production, Charlie’s your guy!

    Ann Graham

    BPN Media Travel Coordinator

    Ann has a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University. After 7 years of experience in the Banking Industry & working with Fruit & Vegetable Growers, she took time off to enjoy raising a family & volunteering with various organizations. Over the past 15 years Ann, has provided support with site placement & production travel. She makes sure that our talented staff and valued presenters are in the right place at the right time.

    Sara Cyr

    Manager of Content Partnerships

    Sara graduated in 2001 with a BS in Elementary Education from Kansas State University. After 8 years as a teacher in Plano, TX, she decided to stay home with her sweet family. A year later, the opportunity arose to start working for BPN, and Sara excitedly joined the team. She now serves as the Manager of ACPEN Industry Institute and assists with ACPEN and ABEN Network Support. Sara juggles multiple roles with ease to keep BPN on track!

  • Leigh-Anne Conroy

    Leigh-Anne Conroy

    BPN Media Production Support

    Leigh-Anne graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Marketing, emphasis in International Studies. For several years, she worked as the Store Manager & Buyer for a high fashion women's boutique before transitioning to life as a stay at home mom. Leigh-Anne now works part-time supporting BPN in a variety of roles. Her flexibility and attention to detail help keep things at BPN running smoothly at BPN Media.
